Tip #1: In case you already use Q-Tips, then be sure to hold the Q-Tip 1 inch away from the cotton tip that you are inserting into your ear. This will assure that you do not ever make accidental communication with your ear drum, which can cause damage. The wax glands which make the earwax are close to the outer edge of the canal, therefore this depth should be sufficient and safe. Use a rotating movement, swabbing everywhere of the canal. Do not use a plungering motion, which eventually pushes and compacts the wax deeper into your canal. (FYI: the cleanest ears we come across use Q Tips daily, but just when done safely & properly.)

The warm water is going to liquefy the wax and expel any other unwanted debris from your ears. Handheld shower heads can be found at most retail or home improvement stores.

Strategy #2:
Tip #3: Use hydrogen peroxide or perhaps pure virgin organic olive oil to first loosen large amounts of aged wax from your canal. Let the fluid to stand in the ear of yours for 5 10 minutes with your head tipped on the side, after which get rid of with warm water coming from a bulb syringe or even making use of the method shown in Tip #2 above.
